River Hills proved to be a challenge for all flights.  The course was in excellent shape and many were challenged on the greens if they had putts from above the hole.

In the Champ Flight, Joe Jaspers was the only golfer to break par shooting a great round of 3 under par 69.  Jim Aughtry finished in 2nd place shooting even par 72 highlighted with a 2 under par 34 on the back nine.  Jeff Malone took home 3rd place with a 76 and newcomer Scott Klein took hme fourth winning a scorebard playoff with Brian McGowan, both players shot 77.

In the A flight is was Gene Funderburk who wins the flight shooting 81.  Rany Quics was second with 82, Jon Blum from the NC FL tour took home 3rd with an 83 and rounding out the top 4 was Nathan arnold shooting 84.

In the B flight is was William Buie taking home top honors shooting 82.  Clif Mrgan finished second with 84.  John Rinaldi and Cliff Sult finished tied for 3rd with 86 but ut was Rinaldi winning the scorecard palyoff.

In the C flight, Steve Daniels took home first place shooting an 88. Robert Taggart took home 2nd place shooting 90.  Ken Young grabbed 3rd with a 91 and Larry Hinson took home 4th place winning a scorecard playoff with Dwight Williams.

In the D flight is was a second generation Dylan Greer taking home top honors although it came a day late.  Due to a scoring issue which was corrected on Sunday morning, Dylan was awarded the first place trophy and gift card. Dylan shot 100 even to win by 1 stroke. Jon McIsaac finished 2nd shooting 101 and Vince Johnson finsihed in 3rd shooting 102.

Another scoring issue occurred in the A flight and the results in the write up and results are correct with all players affected, notified. It is important that all players verify the scorecard so these adding errors do not occur.
