Theme for the day...WIND!!! The forecast called for
10-15 mph winds throughout the day, well..I think they underestimated
!!!! The players that finished in the top 4 of each flight played very
well under some trying conditions. Shot of the day....Peter Brenner who
just missed an ACE on #17 (2 inches)
Champ Flight
Joe Jaspers returns to the winner circle firing a even par
72. 4 players tied for 2nd with 78's, but going to the scorecard playoff
resulted in Jay Barnes earning 2nd, Jim Aughtry earning 3rd and Jobe Dyson
finishing in 4th. Logan Hefner in his second start in the Champ flight
just missed out losing the in scorecard playoff.
A Flight.
Randy Hodges took first place after a one hole sudden
playoff with Joe Zabrecky. Both players tied at 78. Shaun Fettes
picked up 3rd place with a round of 80 and Ken Gallentine picked up 4th with a
round of 82.
B Flight
Nathan Arnold picked up the first place trophy with a solid
round of 84. Jason Smith picked up 2nd place with 85, Long-time tour
member Allen Hagen picked up another top 4 finish, finishing 3rd with an
87. Geof Smith (aka Geof Knight or is it Lord Farquaad) picked up
4th place with an 88
C Flight
Andy Captain wins with a 1 shot victory shooting 88.
Gene Bass and Tony Pharr tied for 2nd but it was Bass getting 2nd on the
scorecard playoff. Justin Boyd finished 4th with a 90.
D Flight
Darren Slate takes 1st place with 96. Shane Kilby and
Bradley Leak tied for 2nd. Kilby took second place by going 5 holes in a
scorecard playoff. Brian Keith completed the top 4 with a round of
99.
Stonebridge Master is the first Major of the season, April 23rd-24th.

All players must prepay on line before the tournament it helps me out a lot at check-in. 2 day majors are twice the work.
Also bring both days skins money on Saturday.

From Uptown Charlotte:
- Take Providence Road South to Highway 84 (Weddington Winn Dixie Plaza on Left)
- Turn left on Highway 84, follow for 5.8 miles to Potter Road (Wesley Chapel School on corner)
- Turn Right on Potter Road and follow for 5.1 miles to traffic light in Mineral Springs. Intersection with Highway 75.
- Cross over Highway 75, go approximately 100 yards and turn left on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road.
- Stay straight on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, which becomes Doster Road, for 2 miles and Stonebridge entrance will be on the left.
From 485 south of Charlotte:
- Take Providence Road South Waxhaw.
- At stoplight after RR tracks in downtown Waxhaw. Turn left on Highway 75. Follow 3.5 miles to next stoplight. Sav Way store is on right
- Turn Right on Potter Road at light. Go approximately 100 yards and turn left on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road.
- Stay straight on Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, which becomes Doster Road, for 2 miles and Stonebridge entrance will be on the left.
From Concord:
- Take 601 south to Unionville Indian Trail Road.
- Unionville Indian Trail Road is 22 miles from Highway 49
- 12.2 miles from Highway 24/27
- 9.1 miles from Corning Plant
- Turn right on to Unionville Indian Trail Road. Follow 3.7 miles.
- Turn left at 2nd flashing light on Rocky River Road. Church on left and store on right.
- Follow Rocky River 2.7 miles to Highway 74.
- Go over Highway 74 and remain on Rocky River for 5.9 miles to intersection with Highway 75.
- Just after 2nd set of RR tracks.
- Go over Highway 75 for 1/10 of a mile.
- Turn left at Stop sign (5th stop sign or stop light since turning on Rocky River Rd.) You are still on Rocky River.
- Travel 1.4 miles to Doster Road (Volunteer Fire Station on Right). Turn right on Doster Rd.
- Travel 6/10 of mile and Stonebridge entrance is on right.
