stop in the fall.

Championship Flight:
Jim Aughtry, Jay Barnes & day one leader Jordan Griggs
all tied at 144 after 36 holes Sunday.
In the first playoff hole on 18 Griggs was bounced from
sudden-death. Aughtry and Barnes then
went on tying for five more holes as Aughtry claimed victory in the second
longest playoff in tour history. Joe
Japsers and newcomer Charlie Niland rounded out the top four spots at 150.
A Flight:
John Ashmore had a career round on Sunday an even par 72 to
post his first ever major win on tour at 151.
Kevin Ronan tried to make a move on Ashmore but cam up a little short
with a Sunday round of 74 and 154 total.
Newcomer Jason Burnette was solo third at 157 and Jim Boyce finished
forth at 160.
B Flight:
Sveen Jackson claimed the victory at 154 over taking day one
leader Ken Gallentine who finished second at 157. Terry Chesney was third at 165 and Dexter
Winfield cashed fourth at 166.
C Flight:
Larry Hinson and Gregg Sherrill both tied at 179 for our
second playoff of the day. Sherrill’s
total was even more impressive as he shot 100-79 (lowest round of his golfing
career) to get in the playoff. The
seasoned veteran took care of business one the first hole as Larry Hinson
lifted the crystal and the first place victory.
Bill Holland, Sean Wrigglesmith, James Hill and Chuck Young all tied at
181.
D Flight:
Andy Captain captured his first ever victory on tour with a
2 day total of 176, like Sherrill Captain day 2 was a career best 80 following
his day one score of 96. Cory Bowman
finished in second with 182 followed by Allan Salcedo at 189 and Erick French
also at 189.
