The next Tour stop is RedBridge a great new course for the Charlotte Area. The RedBridge tournament will be played Saturday May 22nd 1:30 shotgun start, please email me back (Yes or No) on playing in this event. Practice rounds will be available Monday-Friday for only $39. Championship Flight: Todd McPherson had 4 birdies on the day to hold off Jim Aughtry by one shot on Saturday. Todd started his day bogey, bogey but then played one under par golf for the next 16 holes to claim victory at 73. Jim Aughtry had a playoff in sight but a miss putt on the 18th hole kept Jim from a sudden-death playoff. Aughtry finished 2nd on the day with 74. Michael Bailey fired a 76 for 3rd spot while David Schmidt held on to 4th place with 78. Schmidt also held onto the Points Lead in Champ Flight. A Flight: Daryl Ewing claimed victory for the first time on tour but it took extra holes to do so. Ewing, Scott Ide and Bryan Lewis all finished the day with 81’s but in the first playoff hole Ewing was the only player to make a par and claim his first tour victory. Jon Blum visiting from the Jacksonville tour cashed in 4th place with 82. B Flight: Jerry York won for the first time this season beating out Terry Upright by 3 shots with 81. Upright finished in second place for the second tourney in a row with 84, and looks to hoist the victory glass at RedBridge. Phil Vangeersdaelen cash for the first time in 2010 as he got 4th place money with 86. C Flight: Another playoff this time in C flight as Bill Holland and John Rinaldi finished tied with 89’s. Holland and Rinaldi both went to the par 5 1st hole and Holland beat out Rinaldi with a bogie. Third and fourth place too a lot of tie breakers to figure out as 5 players finished only one shot back at 90.
