Champ Flight:

Jobe Dyson , John Ashmore, Steve French and David Schmidt all tied at 76 yesterday at Cabarrus.  John Ashmore had about a five footer for birdie on 18 and it lust slid by one the low side for the outright win.  On to Sudden Death and Schmidt was out and in the second playoff Hole Dyson birdied the par five 1^st hole for the victory.  Official monies for the other three players went to the card and Ashmore was second, French third and Schmidt was 4^th.

A Flight:

Joe Zabrecky wins by one shot with 77 followed by Cabarrus CC member Robert Surratt at 78.  Cliff Sulf and Charles DeVenney both tied at 79 with Sult winning on the card.

B Flight:

Clif Morgan wins again by just one shot at 83 followed by Nolan Elenz at 84.  JimCruse cashes third at 85 and Geoff Smith beat out Arkansas Tour member Bob Luter and Harry Diehl on the card at 86.

C Flight:

John Page wins by three shots at 84 followed by Scott Cain and Joo Kim at 87.  Michael Martin recently moved up from D flight faired well in his first C flight tourney as he fired 88 beating out Chris Richards and Bill Holland on the card playoff.

D Flight:

Eric Riley wins going away with a stellar round of 87.  Erick French cashes second at 94 and Toby Strickland at 96 and Mark Stone at 99 rounded out the top four spots.

The Golfweek Amateur Tours next stop is this August 22nd Saturday as we go to the great old private River Hills on Lake Wylie.
