Eric King, Randy Hodges, Kirk Tatge, Stephan N-Plotnicki and Michael Martin all win at the Golfweek Open!
Champ Flight:
Kentucky’s Eric King win a close battle over David Schmidt
with rounds of 73-73-146. Dave Schmidt
also shot 73 the first day but stumbled a bit coming home and wound up in solo
second with 75 and 148 total. Brian
McGowan continues to improve finishing third at 152 and newcomer Jared Autrey
takes fourth at 155.
A Flight:
Randy Hodges captures his first major of the season with
77-72-149 followed by Chad Hagerman at 73-77-150. Mark Ballew finished tied with day one leader
Michael Brandeburg at 151 but Ballew grabbed third place money on the card.
B Flight:
Kirk Tatge wins by only one shot at 161 followed by MS Tours
David Aussicker at 164. Randy Quis and
Harry Diehl both tied at 165 with Quis winning third on the card playoff.
C Flight:
Stephan N-Plotnicki wins by one shot with 83-82-165 followed
by Perry Dockery at 166. Steve Daniels
grabbed solo third at 167 and Peter Brenner rounded out the top four at 169.
D Flight:
Michael Martin hoist the crystal for first with 88-89 – 177 followed
by Bradley Leak just one shot back at 88-90-178. Jon McIsaac finished third at 182 and Mark
Stone was fourth with 186.
Dennis McCormac had his fourth ace of his career Saturday
hitting a 5 iron into the cup on the par three 192 yard 8th hole!
