Championship Flight:
Joe Jaspers lead wire to wire this weekend as he fired a
nine under 2 day total of 66-69-135 to win by 5 shots. Jordan Griggs also shot under both days and
finished in second place with 69-71-140.
Jim Aughtry shot 72-69-141 and Jay Barnes finished in 4thplace thanks to his second day low round of 68 to go with his first round of
74-142.
A Flight:
Stephen Camilleri won for the first time ever on tour with
by three shots with round of 74-77-151.
These 2 rounds proved to be enough to lower his index below 4.0 so
Stephen will compete in Championship flight at his next event. Derek Goodyear had a great second round to
place second overall with scores of 80-74-154 followed by Logan Heffner
79-76-155 and Jim Boyce 82-79-161.
B Flight:
Robbie Ellis won his first major even and it took 3
sudden-death playoff holes to decide it.
Ellis fired rounds of 78-81 for the victory followed by Mark Osborne
82-77 and Cliff Sult 82-77. Clabie
Edmond rounded out the top four just one shot back of the playoff at 160.
C Flight:
Bob Talbot won his first ever Golfweek major as he shot
87-84-171 over the weekend. With the victory
also came a promotion to B flight as his tour index dropped below 14.0. Maurice Mack had the comeback of the day as
he shot his lowest round ever on tour 79 to finish in second place at 173. Ken Young was third at 173 and Sean
Wrigglesmith was 4th with 177.
D Flight:
Eric Riley held off hard charging Gregg Sherril for the
victory with 182 and Sherill was second at 186.
