The third major of the
season is at the end of the month July 25th& 26th at
Cowan’s Ford CC on Saturday & Carolina Lakes GC on Sunday. Both days
are 1:30 shotgun starts and courses will be in excellent shape.

Championship Flight:
Dave Schmidt shot under par both days 68-67=135 for the five
shot victory and punches his ticket to Hilton Head in October. Justin Wagner played consistent all weekend
as he fired a pair of 70’s for a second place 140 finish. Jobe Dyson, Randy Dockins and Jody Clary all
finished at 143.
A Flight:
Don Bridges fired the best round of his career a 67 to end
up tied with Tim Smith at 143. After two
sudden-death playoff holes Bridges took home the crystal and the victory. Phil VanGeersdaelen, Mitch Howze and Charles
DeVenney all finished tied at 147.
B Flight:
Judd Dye wins by three with a two day total of 147. Mason Hagen was tied after day one then chased
all day Sunday, but could only capture second place at 150. Paul Aschmann took
solo third at 154 and Allen Brian Swanson, Allen Hagen and Nolan Elenz all tied
at 155.
C Flight:
Mark Sikes wins at 167 followed by James Hill and Cory
Bowman at 168. John Page, Steve Daniels
and Pat Reynolds all finished 2 back at 170.
