The next tour stop will be SUNDAY at the Club at Irish Creek (9/25 a 1:30pm shotgun start) then the following weekend the Local Finals on (Oct 1^st and 2^nd).  Saturday Oct 1^st is a 1pm shotgun start at the Palisades CC & Then Sunday morning 9am shotgun start at CC of Salisbury.

Practice rounds are available to registered player only (Tuesday-Friday) for Irish Creek starting this week at $50 if you’re on the player list.  The Palisades & CC of Salisbury will have practice rounds the following week for $50 (Palisades) $35 at (CC of Salisbury). 

Please email me back (Yes or No) on both of these ASAP as these are the final 2 events to qualify for Hilton Head and the National Tour Championship.

Stand up to Cancer drive raffles for the last 2 tournaments of the season.  Once again the Golfweek Amateur Tours will donate a year end check to Stand up to Cancer at the Tour Championship.  To date we have raised over $18,000 around the country with Team Charlotte getting ready to support the cause. 

We will draw half the prizes Saturday at The Palisades and then Sunday the other half at CC of Salisbury.  Tickets are $20 each and you can buy as many as you want.  There will be a button on the credit card payment page for easy payment or bring check or cash to any of the tournaments.  You do not have to be present to win so please at least give on ticket a chance for the cause.

Championship Flight:

Steve French won for the first time all season as he fired a smooth 74 with 4 birdies on the day.  Right behind French in second place was Alex Brenner at 75.  Newcomer Darrell Campbell continues to cash as he finished in third place with 76.  Greg Harrold and Dave Brown both finished tied at 77 but it was Harrold winning on the card playoff for 4^th place money.

A Flight: 

Tim Knight also won for the first time all season and also shot the low round of the day 73 for the victory.  Mike Nasekos always plays well at Edgewater and today was no different as he finished in second place with 75.  Kevin Ronan was third with 81 and David Carpenter beat out Steven Clippard and Phil Gregorich on the card for 4^th place money.

B Flight:

Rich Dutcher also won for the first time this season with a great round of 79.  With that round Rich was moved to the A Flight as his index dropped well below the 9.0 mark.  Congrats Rich on your continued great play.  Joel Barlowe and Nolan Elenz were locked at 81 but Barlowe nipped Elenz on the card for second place.  Elenz however moved to within just a few points shy of points leader Phil VanGeersdalen with only 2 events left to play.

C Flight: 

John Rinaldi grabbed first place firing a smooth 86 on Saturday to win by only one shot.  Stephan N-Plotnicki and Larry Hinson both shot 87’s but Stephan won second on the card playoff.  Ken Burke got back into form and finished in fourth place with 88.

D Flight:

David Goodwin from the Columbia Tour took home first place Saturday by one shot firing a 97 for the victory.  Dwight Williams finished one shot back at 97, and Trey Horton was third with 100.
