Tournament Results
Champ Flight - We had some big guns out for this event and we saw some great golf from all of them. At the turn it was a four stroke difference, but in the end we would see from the Arizona Tour, Wallace Nelson clinch the title with a -1 (70) score, and taking some hardware back to the Arizona Tour.
A Flight - Following closely, the A Flight featured familiar faces and a compelling competition. Most of the field reached the turn with two strokes between them, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion. It would come down to the final hole, but in the end Dan Duran emerged victorious with a +6 (77) score and claiming his SECOND VICTORY of the season.
B Flight - As always, the B Flight offered a battle until the end. The entire field was within six strokes of the leaders at the turn. The outcome hinged on three straight pars in the final three holes, giving Mario Villa the championship with a +3 (74) score, making this a FIRST VICTORY of the season. Securing second place would be Chris Rocha with a +4 (75), Third Place would go to John Cobian III and a PROMOTION TO A FLIGHT!!!
C Flight - The C Flight boasted an unpredictable field where any player could emerge victorious. At the turn, the whole field had only a five stroke difference and it looked like it would come down to the wire. A strong start to his back nine with six pars would be the difference for our Champion. Cody Matthews took the championship at +8 (79) making this his FIRST VICTORY ON TOUR!!! Steven Trevizo would take second with a +9 (80) and a PROMOTION TO B FLIGHT!!!!!
D Flight - Concluding the event with the final flight, the tournament witnessed a closely contested race throughout. Eight players approached the turn with six strokes as the difference. With a consisten final four holes our champion would be determined. Oscar Delgado took the championship with a +11 (82) score, marking this his FIRST VICTORY ON TOUR!!! Allen Barton secured the second place with a +14 (85) after a scorecard playoff. Katie McCauley would take third as well as a PROMOTION TO C FLIGHT!!!
