As a Golfweek Amateur Tour Member, you will receive membership into a -USGA compliant club through USHandicap.com and issued an official USGA index.

Within 60 days of joining the tour and filling out the 2019 registration, each member will receive an email from USHandicap with instructions on how to sign into your account. You will not be able to access your Silver membership until you receive the confirmation email. Nothing will be mailed, everything will be done via email address.

This year’s 36 hole Southern Regional had 128 players from 20 different tours competing at Cougar Point and The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island. 

Scott Roberts, Jason Dores, Norman Pickler, TJ Eaves and Chad Oates all win at the Southern Regional in Kiawah.

Championship Flight:
Scott Roberts from the Charlotte tour came back from being five over par early day one to shoot 73 then shot an even par 72 at The Ocean course 72-73-145 for a four shot victory.  It was Robert’s second time taking home the crystal at a Regional Tournament winning the Icebreaker Open at Robert Trent Jones course and Harbour Town Golf Links.  Chris Daily (Myrtle Beach-Wilmington) tour finished in solo second place with scores of 76-73-149.  Chris Legare the day one leader (Hilton Head-Savannah) posted 70-80-150 for third and Wesley Fennel (Hilton Head-Savannah) was fourth at 154.


A Flight:
Jason Dores and Donnie Pritt both from the Myrtle Beach-Wilmington Tour and finished tied at 154 and went to a sudden-death playoff where Dores was the winner after one hole.  Eric Maland and Glenn Powell both from the Charleston Tour both finished tied at 155 one shot back of the playoff.


B Flight:
Norman Picker from the Augusta tour grabs the win by two shots at 154.  Hilton Head-Savannah Tour member Joe Combs finished second at 156 and Tyler Phillips (Charlotte), Joseph Holzapfel (Metro NY) and Boyd Laughlin (Hilton Head-Savannah) all tied at 161.


C Flight:
TJ Eaves (Upstate) wins by seven shots at 166 followed by Joseph Jones (Columbia) at 173.  Chris Huge (Charleston) was third at 175 and Michael Lee (Hilton Head-Savannah) rounded out the top for spots at 177.


D Flight:
Chad Oates (Atlanta) wins by three at 178 followed by Jonah Barth (Jacksonville) with a two day total of 181.  David Dick was third at 191 followed  by Gary Holzapfel (Metro NY) with 192.
