We had a great turnout and the weather turned out to be pleasant and no rain!!!!

We had about 6 guests, including Erin Byrd, the marketing director for our sponsor Dicks sporting goods stores. Hopefully we can get some of these guest to join. What the Woodlands course pros were impressed with was the prize money that we play for …… and also the betting pool dollars. So when you may be talking to prospective members mention this benefit, most courses have very small prize purses. And this weekend we had another big skins winner Jim Morrison (who played as a guest) won $58 in BCD SKINS and $68 in SUPER SKINS that $126!!!

Here’s how the scoring went:

Champ flt we had 2 guests and they didn’t do too well we had MARTIN HUNT win with an 85 over MIKE JONES who had an 87. Martin plans on joining the Greenville (upstate tour)

A FLT pretty tight match JARED BEARD was the winner with a 78 and HIRAN HICKS AND TROY RAUCH were tied at 79 one stroke behind…. HIRAN was the winner on playoff.

B FLT JOHN BECKMAN was the winner with an 84, on his home course. Finishing 2 strokes back was JOSE LAGOS with an 86.

C FLT this was the tightest contest of the day we had 3 players tie for first with an 86 so we had a 3 man playoff… RANDY WOODWARD finished 1^st, 2^nd LES BRADSTEET…. 3^RD RUSSELL JONES… good playing guys

D FLT another close race WES GENTRY AND WILLIAM HINSON tied with an 89 GENTRY won the playoff for first,,,, HINSON finished 2^nd…. In third place a stroke back at 90 was visiting player from Down east tour (that’s in NORTH CAROLINA) DENISE JUSTIS
